Winter Weekends Sound of Mull

We will continue our diving weekends through October- December as we move from autumn through to winter.

During these trips we try to remain to our closer sites and return to the marina in-between dives.

Although the water temperature still remains relatively warm between 9-12 degrees which isn’t too far off summer temperatures inshore (12-14). Last year we had everything from 20degree sunshine to a frosted boat in the morning. Thankfully we have relatively sheltered conditions meaning we can usually get out to dive.

Dive sites can include the wrecks of the Breda or Thesis, walls at Ard Na Cuille, Bach Island or Morvern and in neaps

If everyone has more of an interest in marine life then we can target species species or areas of lots of colour, even sea search specific areas or goals.

Charter rate is £400 for a full boat charter and includes the sites above. However for further days away there is additional £15 per diver per day – minimum 8 divers. SoM wrecks (e.g Hispania/Rondo/Shuna) or Garevllachs/Meldon area.

Accommodation is available in town and at reduced rates for Dive Oban & Argyll divers.
